After having completed the assigned reading for this week, please answer the following questions fully and thoughtfully.
Think about the career path you have currently selected or one that interests you and consider how what you have learned about globalization is relevant to that career or field.
How can international collaboration and partnerships benefit both workers and employers in a globalized economy?
How has globalization impacted labor markets and the workforce in your state or region?
What are some of the ethical considerations related to immigration in your local labor market, and how can they be addressed?
What are some of the benefits and drawbacks of worker migration for labor markets and workforce development in your chosen profession/industry?
Instructions
Post your initial answers to the questions no later than Wednesday (this week – week 1 of this module).
Your answer should be thorough and supported by the readings and instructional materials presented. You do not need to cite the chapter itself in a formal (APA) manner, but your answers should reflect either that chapter or the thoughts you had after reading that text. If you use other resources you should cite them (but the use of other sources is not required).
This is a graded assignment and therefore you should use professional writing standards. Grammar, spelling, punctuation, and capitalization will all be counted as a part of your final grade on this assignment.
To adequately answer the questions, you should be aiming for approximately 300 words.
Respond to three (3) of your classmates’ posts by Sunday at 10pm Central (this week – week 1 of this module).
Your responses should be more than “I agree” or “I disagree.” You should provide an in-depth reason for your statements that further the conversation by either expounding on the topic with additional information from the materials or your own research or providing specific examples explaining how they connect to the discussion at hand.
