This presentation should relate to a historical event, policy or act of legislation, or organization/entity that significantly impacted the emergence of workforce development as a field of practice.
Make sure you have posted your group member names and topic to the Presentation #1 discussion board already. NO TWO GROUPS CAN SUBMIT THE SAME TOPIC, so please review other group submissions before posting your own.
Use the AU Libraries databases or other credible sources to find information about your topic. If you need assistance searching, feel free to contact the Education Librarian, Todd Shipman.
Create a presentation file and record with your group partner in Zoom. Your presentation should include the following
– a title slide with the names of the group members
a brief description of the historical event, policy or legislation, or organization/entity your group selected
why was this important (from a lens of either theory, economic, social, ethical, etc.)
what impact has it had on workforce development (on research, on practice in the field, on structure, implementation or funding of programs and initiatives, on purpose and audience, etc.)
a reference slide in APA Style (be sure you use credible sources)
