This activity requires students to assimilate all information presented in Modules 5 and 6 into the final case study due in Module 9.
For this activity, you will post a draft copy of Phase 2 of your final case study. In Phase 2, and based on the primary vulnerability identified in Phase 1, you will evaluate the readiness of your workplace/community/region to respond to this mass fatality event, with respect to performing recovery and morgue operations and facilitating access to mental/behavioral health services to the family members, responders, and survivors.
Phase 2: Preparedness
In Phase 2, and based on the primary vulnerability identified in Phase 1, you will
evaluate the readiness of your workplace/community/region/state/country to
respond to and recover from this mass fatality event. Consider transportation,
communications, engineering and public services, firefighting and security
capabilities, logistics and resource management, public health and medical services,
search and rescue capabilities, morgue operations, and facilitating access to
mental/behavioral health services for survivors and responders. See the following
